Grandma's Walnut Pie

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 full bottle dark karo syrup
2 9- inch deep dish pie shells
6 large eggs
12oz. walnut halves

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350f. In a large mixing bowl add sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, and karo syrup mix well until combined. Add walnuts and mix until combined. Pour half of this mixture in one of the pie shells. Then pour the other half of the mixture in the second shell. Now place each of the pies on a baking sheet and bake the pies for 60-70 mins.
