1 cup cornmeal
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1⁄2 tsp. baking powder
salt to taste
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
3⁄4 cup milk
1 cup oil
1. In a medium bowl add in the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.  Mix well.
2. Add in the milk and egg. Mix well all the ingredients.
3. In  a frying pan heat the oil, pour in the batter with ladle and fry for 2 min 30  seconds on each side.
4. Take out the cornbread and place over the paper  towel.
