Drop Biscuits

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 cup cold buttermilk
1 stick melted unsalted butter

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl and set aside.
In another bowl mix buttermilk and butter together and add to dry ingredients.
Mix just until combined. Drop by 1/4 cup and bake in preheated oven at 475 F . for 12 to 14 minutes.
Brush baked biscuits with 2 tbsp. of melted butter while hot and serve.
