Ingredients:
4 sticks unsalted butter, softened
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
6 cups Quaker quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
2 cups raisins
2 cups chopped walnuts
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 F.
In large bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add oats,raisins, and walnuts mix well.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
