Beer Batter Shrimp

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 clove garlic
8 ounces beer
Flour for Coating
3-4 cups peanut oil for frying
1 1/4 pounds rock shrimp or peeled white shrimp
